Are We Having Fun Yet? was the title of an e-mail I sent four years ago (1996) to family and friends. Soon afterwards, I sent the same story to Living Aboard magazine—and forgot about it.
The magazine, unknown to us, published it this year. We accidentally saw it in the magazine just two days before starting out. Coincidentally, the story describes our disastrous (yet humorous) first-day-starting-out from the very same place exactly four years ago. Thankfully, our first day starting out this time went much more smoothly!
